With CNN host Mike Galanos, Criminal Defense Attorney and Forensic Science Consultant Keith Murray lays out Casey Anthony’s Defense’s issues with the “Smell of Death” testimony, detailing the issues with the specific chemical compounds tested, the Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectometry process and the pitfalls of scientific conclusion testimony concerning the GC/MS evidence. Attorney Murray also critiques the defense’s approach to the science in the case, how the State overcompensated on the testimony and the possible jury confusion with the issue.
